A member of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Katie Chappell, PA-C earned a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA in 2014 and a Bachelor of Sciences from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2007.

A native of Reno, Katie is thrilled to have now returned and settled in the place where she spent her childhood and college years. She has been practicing in Reno since 2015 and joined Skin Cancer & Dermatology Institute in 2017. Katie is fluent in all aspects of dermatology and is eager to serve patients across a spectrum of ages and needs.

Katie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and children.
